The Massachusetts State Board of Accountancy does not preapprove
courses, nor do they register continuing education providers.

Ethics Required:
Yes. 4 Hours (of the required 80 hours) in Professional Ethics is
required and effective for all licenses expiring on or after June 30, 2007.

Credit Limits:
The maximum credit for instructors is 50% of total hours with no
repeating of course presentations being accepted without sufficient
change of course materials. The maximum credit for articles/books is
generally 25%. Whole hour credits only are granted.
Other State Policies:
Programs must contribute directly to the professional competence of
the participant.
