The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 eliminated and/or reduced many deductions. It is apparent that tax planning will move from the deduction area to the income area. Fringe benefits are compensations made to an employee beyond the regular benefit of being paid for their work.
Some fringe benefits are fairly standard, such as offering a few days of sick time or paid vacation time. Other fringe benefits can be significantly greater, and rarer. During this course, we will discuss the impact of the TCJA 2017.
