Since mankind walked on their knuckles and carried a club, men and women have been sexually harassed. Therefore, it is without surprise that sexual harassment in the workplace has existed for centuries, primarily affecting both sexes of people who are in the workforce. It was often assumed that victims wanted or deserved the sexual attention and advances that they reported; unless the victim had substantial evidence that they had rejected or fought against their aggressor.
