ANNUAL FILING SEASON PROGRAM (AFSP) REQUIREMENTS

Renewal Deadline: 12/31 annually

CPE Reporting Deadline: 1/1 to 12/31 annually

Total CE Hours Required: 18 Hours (A 6-hour Annual Federal Tax Refresher (AFTR) course, 10 Hours of other federal tax law topics and 2 Hours of ethics)

Regular AICPA members Requirements:

Renewal Deadline: 01/01 Triennial

Total CPE Hours Required: 120 hours or its equivalent, of continuing professional education on a three-year reporting cycle !

Qualifying Programs

Programs which contribute to the member's professional competence and are formal programs. No specific subject areas are required. Examples of qualifying programs are in-house training courses, trade association conferences or college and university classes.

ASSOCIATION OF CERTIFIED FRAUD EXAMINERS

Renewal Deadline: As a CFE, you must certify CPE compliance by the end of your anniversary month, the month your membership expires

Total CE Hours Required: 20 Hours
At least 10 of these hours must relate directly to the detection and deterrence of fraud and 2 hours must relate directly to ethics.
