And since for many tax practitioners, compilation, preparation, and review engagements also make up a substantial part of their overall professional practice, this course reviews the authoritative standards and guidance for performing these types of engagements found in SSARS No. 21, Clarification and Recodification.

Learn about the latest pronouncements, future issues, and alternatives to GAAP, presented in a clear and practical fashion. 

• Discuss pertinent PCAOB and GASB issues.

• Learn AICPA resources available to gain a more in-depth understanding of new issues.

• Identify current projects of the FASB.

• Identify the recent Statements of Federal Accounting Standards issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB)
