COURSE DESCRIPTION

What is Abuse? As soon as you hear the words “accounting abuse” how many companies or people come to mind? News stories constantly tell us of another occurrence of abuse. U.S. Chamber of Commerce estimates occupational fraud/abuse cost over $50 billion annually. 1/3 of business failures are directly related to employee theft. 75% of all employees have stolen from their employers at least once and half of these employees have stolen repeatedly.

During this course we will discuss the different types of abuse found in businesses, and what you can do to Identify and deter employees from committing.
