Course Description:
This course is essential for the tax practitioner who wants to update their knowledge of individual income taxation and strategies to reduce their client's tax burden. This course will provide a comprehensive review of Form 1040 and schedules A-F, SE, 2106, 1099, and 1098 complexities, including how K-2 and K-3 can impact your client's individual returns. Updates of tax legislation and planning strategies to better assist your clients will also be discussed. A lot of things are in motion this year, although the Build Back Better Bill never made it out of the capital we have all heard the noise about breaking it up and passing it in sections. Some things will get passed, as there is bipartisan support, others will not. We also have midterm elections this year that could swing the pendulum in favor of one party over the other, this could result in some late bill passing. We have tax laws beginning and others sunsetting. This is a course you will not want to miss.
